Every year in September, BASTA! is the meeting point for Microsoft, Cloud and Web Developers! We are look forward to meeting you again this year!

Because we want to ensure that the lively exchange of knowledge and ideas, so typical of BASTA!, continues to work well, we were one of the first in the conference industry to develop our hybrid concept.

OUR ANSWER TO CORONA: HYBRID

In order to include all interested parties perfectly, BASTA! will be streamed live with all parallel tracks – using professional and tested video technology. You can also get in touch with our speakers, sponsors and exhibitors, for networking, your business and to get impulses for your successful projects, even if you should not be there.

The necessary hygiene and spacing measures will of course be taken care of the Mainz Rheingoldhalle and the adjacent event locations. For this purpose, we will control the number of participants.

As you can see – thanks to the innovative program and the numerous networking opportunities, the upcoming BASTA! will provide the ideal framework for your continuing education.

In order to be accessible for all interested parties, BASTA! will be streamed live with all parallel tracks at the same time. The choice is yours: you can visit the conference on-site or follow it live remotely via video stream.

BASTA! DURING COVID-19: HOW DOES IT WORK?

First of all: it works! Together with hygiene experts and in cooperation with the Rheingoldhalle Mainz a detailed concept will be developed for BASTA! in order to make your conference participation as safe and pleasant as possible.

The Rheingoldhalle Mainz supports this process with its special expertise, as event and congress hall.

The following measures apply to BASTA! 2020 and will, if necessary,
be adjusted in accordance with official requirements:

HYGIENE MEASURES

All contact surfaces of the Rheingoldhalle Mainz such as door handles or tables are disinfected regularly, several times a day. Special attention is paid to disinfecting catering surfaces. Disinfectants will also be provided for participants at numerous stations.

MOUTH AND NOSE PROTECTION

Mouth and nose protection must be worn on the way into the event rooms, in the expo area, in all public areas outside the event rooms, in restrooms, and when serving food. If you have forgotten your own face mask, a replacement will be waiting for you at the check-in. Staff at the Rheingoldhalle Mainz is also instructed to wear mouth and nose protection.

DISTANCE

In the session, workshop, and keynote rooms as well as in the expo, seating must be at least 1.5 meters apart. This will be achieved with additional space at the venue, video transmission, and by active control of the number of participants. The expo area as well as the general traffic areas will be dimensioned so that minimum distances can be easily maintained.

GUIDED TOUR

The routing in the Rheingoldhalle Mainz will be designed in such a way that participants will encounter each other as little as possible when entering and leaving the venue (separate entrances and exits). Care will be taken to ensure that aisle widths are at least 2.40 meters in each case. Furthermore, floor markings will be used.

FOOD AND DRINK

In cooperation with the Rheingoldhalle Mainz, culinary creations are served individually with the usual exceptional quality. Great importance is attached to current gastronomy hygiene regulations.
